New York Giants at Cincinnati Bengals (+6) | TOTAL: 43

Not having Joe Burrow available for the Bengals is a bummer, but I’m not convinced that it means the offense will die a slow painful death at home vs the Giants.

Cincinnati throws the second most amount of times in the NFL, and with no Joe Mixon, that doesn’t appear likely to change even with Brandon Allen taking over at quarterback. Allen

Small Business Saturday is arriving right on time for many business owners. But this year, it’s more than a boost to business. For some, it’s a lifeline.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — When Nicole Corriher decided to open a fine jewelry store in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood, she never thought her first year open would be during a pandemic.

“You’re just fighting tooth and nail to survive some extreme, extreme odds,” said Corriher, the owner of The Golden Carrot. “Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined having to navigate this truly bizarre environment.”

Small Business Saturday is arriving right on time for her. But this year, it’s more than a boost to business. For some, it’s a lifeline.

“They’re putting in their blood, sweat, and tears and their passion and love,” Corriher said. “They’re thinking about it day and night.”

Factions are running wild right now in the world of wrestling, arguably more than ever before between WWE and AEW. Not every stable can be a winner (see: Retribution), but The Hurt Business and Inner Circle have managed to be one of the best parts of their respective shows in 2020.

AEW’s Inner Circle has been a staple of Dynamite since its first episode in October 2019. The group consisting of Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz has had its fair share of ups and downs since then but remains relevant as a top act in the promotion to this day.

The same can be said for The Hurt Business. Although the foursome of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander hasn’t been together

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Owners of small business across central Indiana hope you’ll “shop small” with them on Saturday.

Things will be a little bit different for Small Business Saturday due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Small Business Administration says small businesses need support now more than ever, as they navigate and pivot the effects of pandemic.

Likewise, Elliot Hughes, who was an adviser to former finance minister Bill Morneau, said Freeland’s update should provide Canadians a sketch of an economic vision.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

That may include not only talk about child care, but also vaccine distribution and skills training and a long view on post-pandemic plans. The Liberals’ have promised a “green” recovery, and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh called on them this week to deliver.

“People are already turning their sights on to what the recovery is going to look like,” said Hughes, now with Summa Strategies.

“Responding to that would be something, I think, Canadians are interested in.”

The fall economic statement should have a full accounting of pandemic spending so far, and the depth of this year’s deficit, which in July was forecast at a historic $343.2 billion.

What Corridor businesses are doing for Small Business Saturday

Jan Finlayson vividly remembers the boost her business Luxe Interiors saw last year on Small Business Saturday on the Iowa City Pedestrian Mall.

“Of course we were very lucky to have a home football game that started late,” Finlayson recalled. “It brought us a customer that doesn’t always get to our store.”

There won’t be Hawkeye fans filling the Ped Mall this time. But she still has high expectations for the national shopping holiday that promotes small businesses.

“The weather is forecast to be good, and with the students having gone home, I think area residents are going to want to come out,” Finlayson said.

She’s not the only one with high hopes for the holiday. Economic development groups in the Corridor have Saturday circled for launching initiatives to support small businesses such as Finlayson’s.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and they need our support,” said Staci
