Will Eagles fire Doug Pederson? What about Vikings’ Mike Zimmer, Bears’ Matt Nagy, Broncos’ Vic Fangio? NFL Week 13 hot seat rankings

So who is next?

Let’s take a look at our latest hot seat rankings, which go from coolest seat to hottest.

8. Mike Zimmer, Vikings (5-6): His job security should hinge on whether the Vikings can rally and make the playoffs. If they can’t (or maybe even if they go one-and-done), he should be a goner. He just took care of business against the Panthers. He closes with Jaguars, Buccaneers, Bears, Saints, Lions. Three very winnable games. And he needs to win them.

Last week’s ranking: 5

7. Vic Fangio, Broncos (4-7): A completely expected loss last week to the Saints,

Why Did Snowflake Stock Rally Over 20% Last Week?

Cloud-based data warehousing startup Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW) saw its stock rally by over 20% last week to about $330 per share, valuing the company at about $90 billion. While there wasn’t much news from the company over the past week, there could be a couple of factors that drove up the stock. Firstly, Snowflake is likely to report its first set of quarterly results as a public company on December 2 and investors are likely anticipating strong numbers. For perspective, the consensus estimates that the company will post revenue of about $148 million, and a loss per share of about -$0.26. Separately, investors have continued to double down on high-growth and software stocks through the last week, after taking a breather earlier in the month amid the vaccine news. For example, Zoom gained about 12% over the last week while Tesla stock was up by about 18%. This also

Dolphins Trending Up, Trending Down After Week 12

The Miami Dolphins got back on the winning track against the New York Jets in a business-like 20-3 victory at MetLife Stadium. While the victory wasn’t particularly overwhelming, it offered a lot of positive performances.

As a result, we’re back to having more players trending up than trending down.

TRENDING UP

— Xavien Howard: Yes, we’re going to start with Howard again. Because he deserves it. It’s actually hard for him to be trending up considering his level of play in recent weeks, but he needs to be here.

— DeVante Parker: There’s just something about Parker that comes alive when Ryan Fitzpatrick is at quarterback, and we saw it again against the Jets. He set a season high in receiving yards, including some key third-down receptions.

— Durham Smythe: Smythe had a nice blocking outing against the Jets and tied a career high with three receptions.

— DeAndre Washington:

Las Vegas hotels are closed during the week. Blame the lack of business travelers

It’s impossible to stay midweek right now at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Las Vegas.

It’s not because the 3,007 rooms are sold out at one of the largest casino hotels in the world.

Far from it.

The 43-story luxury resort expects to fill so few rooms that it can’t justify staying open during the week.

So Mandalay Bay is closed from Monday noon to Thursday noon. The new hours went into effect Nov. 30, one day after I checked out.

On ExpressNews.com: Wary Traveler: Boeing’s Max flies again, like it or not

The casino resort reopened June 2, 3½ months after COVID-19 shut down Las Vegas’ hospitality industry. The reason for Mandalay Bay’s new, partial closure: business travelers and conventioneers who never returned.

Since this is Las Vegas, the casino floor will remain open 24 hours a day. With gambling odds in its favor, the house is always
